Our Class is Doing Dinja Wahda!

Hello! Welcome to our new blog about environmental education. This year, our school is participating in the project Dinja Wahda (One World) organised by Birdlife Malta. We are doing lots of interesting activities with the environment as our focus. We are taking care of a bird table, separating waste and we have also made Christmas cards and decorations using recycled material. In this blog we are going to keep a record of the activities we have done so far as well as other interesting information we come across. Enjoy!
For more information about Dinja Wahda log on to the website: http://www.birdlifemalta.org/

Dear Children from Annibale Preca Primary School in Lija,, what a fantastic idea to start a blog as a class in connection to your environmental activities through ‘Dinja Waħda’. In today’s world the internet is a powerful tool to let the rest of Malta and…and oh yes!.... the whole wide world know of all the good things happening in your school with regards to environmental education. We all know how important it is for all of us, young and old, to respect the environment in order to remain strong and happy. I augur that you will have many other students and also parents visiting your Blog. At the same time learning from your dedication and team work. Thank you for sharing your experiences with the rest of Malta and the world…which is as the programme says, ‘Dinja Waħda’. (One World). I will be looking forward to read the updates and comments. Congratulations for your good work! – Albert (Dinja Waħda.coordinator)
