- Hello! We are 27 students attending Annibale Preca Primary School in Lija, Malta. We are in Year 6A and our teacher's name is Mr. Paul A. Rapa. We are doing a project about the Environment called "Dinja Wahda", One World organised by Birdlife Malta. We hope you like our work!

What an interesting reptile this is! The Chameleon was introduced to Malta from North Africa in the 19th century. It has adapted well in the Maltese country side. It has two colours. One a greyish brown (just like tree branches) and another Green (Just like leaves) it does this so it not be seen easily, what we call camouflage. It likes to eat insects like flies.
